Angel Slay didn’t know she liked modern design until she moved to NYC. There’s not a lot of modernism in Mississippi.
She grew up in a world of tchotchke curated by a mother who saved everything and had a soft spot for plaster of Paris.
That all changed after she moved into a modern, minimalist apartment and was introduced to Scandinavian design.
She became a passionate convert and those early experiences radically changed how she perceived and encountered space.
As an intuitive designer, her focus is on the space between objects.
She slowly started incorporating sustainable practices and noticed her wellness improved.
She is a graduate of New York School of Interior Design and trained in Interior Alignment, color undertones, space clearing, sacred geometry and is an amateur, urban gardener.
